Cuyahoga Falls baseball coach Scott Koenig doesn't believe in moral victories, but he said outside observers have noticed improvement for the Black Tigers. "Even the umpires are telling me we look so much better than last year," Koenig said.

Bulldog girls track rolls past Norton, Ravenna

Team balance enabled the promising Woodridge girls track and field team to post a pair of league wins. Woodridge beat Norton 88-40 and defeated Ravenna 91-37 in the meet, which opened the challenging Portage Trail Conference Metro Division campaign April 4 in Peninsula.

Woodridge softball scores two wins on Florida trip

The Woodridge softball team was running on all cylinders March 28 in a 13-2 rout of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy of Pennsylvania in its third and final game of its season-opening trip to Orlando, Fla. The game was shortened to five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.
