Akron woman sentenced in death of Cuyahoga Falls man

An Akron woman was sentenced to jail time in the death of a Cuyahoga Falls man whom she hit with her car last fall. Angelique Santa, 35, of Koerber Avenue in Akron, pleaded guilty to first-degree misdemeanor vehicular homicide and was sentenced Friday, Feb.

Cliff Deveny, MD, a former senior leader at Summa Health, has been named Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the health system effective March 13, Summa Health's Board of Directors announced in a news release on Feb. 24. Deveny replaces Thomas Malone, who resigned last month.
