Hydrant flushing in city runs through Aug. 18

Hydrant flushing has begun in the city of Cuyahoga Falls and will run roughly through Aug. 18. Hydrant flushing will occur during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Falls Oktoberfest will roll out early as Sommerfest

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- The city's annual observance of Oktoberfest will take place a little early this year. Due to the construction underway this year to open Front Street to traffic, festival planners needed to move up the date of Oktoberfest to earlier in the summer.

City Council will not meet on July 3 Cuyahoga Falls City Council has changed revised its schedule this month to meet on July 10, 17, 24 and 31. There will not be a Council meeting on July 3. The next session will be July 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Natatorium , 2345 Fourth St.
