Akron SCORE, the free mentoring program for new and existing businesses, has presented free workshops this month at two Akron locations and a Medina location. The workshops offer practical guidance to help new businesses get started and existing businesses improve their operations and profitability.
All workshops are conducted by professional counselors certified by SCORE, the non-profit Small Business Administration-affiliated organization. The workshops will be conducted at the Taylor Institute for Direct Marketing at The University of Akron, Goodwill Industries and the Medina County University Center.
The last workshop, which will happen at Medina County University Center, is:
■ June 28 -- Email Marketing: Shorten Your Sales Cycle -- Automate Your Marketing (9 to 11 a.m.)
Additional workshop details are available on the SCORE website at www.akron.score.org. Individuals and companies interested in attending can register at the website or by calling 330-379-3163. A full schedule of workshops will be conducted throughout 2017.
