Juanita (Hopkins) Stoneburner, 96, loving, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017.
Born February 19, 1921 in Kenmore, she grew up in Doylestown. Nita was a member of the Doylestown High School Class of 1939. Following graduation, she worked as a secretary at Firestone. There, she met John Stoneburner when he returned from active army duty following WWII. They were married in 1946 until his death in 2005.
Nita and John were members of the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. They thoroughly enjoyed retirement with world travel, bowling and golf.
Nita was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Maud (Butcher) Hopkins, her brother Fred Hopkins, her nephew Michael Hopkins and her husband of 59 years, John G Stoneburner, Jr. She is survived by daughter Susan (Stan) Gowin of Reston, Virginia, and granddaughter Marliese Gowin of Austin, Texas. Nita will also be missed by nieces Bonny (Larry) Busson, Shirley (Dan) Centa, and nephews Bob Hopkins and Daniel Hopkins.

Per her wishes, Juanita has been cremated and her ashes will be inurned at the Salesville Methodist Cemetery in Salesville, OH.
