Kenneth Norman Tifft, 72, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife on March 13, 2017.
Born in Akron on July 3, 1944 to the late Howard & Thelma Tifft, Ken was a lifetime Falls resident and a 1962 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, working as a communications specialist in Eritrea Africa. Ken retired from Ohio Bell after 33 years of service. He enjoyed reading (especially biographies), auto & motorcycle shows, traveling the New England states, & he had a soft heart for animals, occasionally bringing home a stray dog and giving it a lifetime of love.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sally; his children Kevin Tifft & Nicole Loosli; grandson Reade; sister Judith (Richard) Reed.
Per his wishes, Ken will be cremated and his family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2-4 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls.
