Mercedes E. "Marcy" Cunningham, 83, died Dec. 2, 2012.

Born in Akron, she was an area resident most of her life.

Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Mercedes DeRemer, three sisters and two brothers, she is survived by her husband of 64 years Robert; daughters Debby (Larry) Crow of Chardon and Nancy (Jim) Taylor of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Kelly Bright, Rob (Sally) Fuller, Matthew and Paul Taylor; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral took place at Redmon Funeral Home. Burial was at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
