Mae E. Thompson, 85, of Cuyahoga Falls, died Dec. 1, 2012.
She was born in Silver Hill, W.Va., the daughter of the late Wyley and Clara (Albright) Pyles. Mrs. Thompson moved to the area in 1955, where she and her husband raised their six children.
Preceded in death by her husband, William and twin sister, Mary Stern, she is survived by her children, Mary Lynn Tiller (Wallace) of Cuyahoga Falls, William Thompson Jr. of Silverthorne, Colo., James Thompson of Cuyahoga Falls, twins, Terrence Thompson of Cuyahoga Falls and Gerald Thompson of Silverthorne, CO and Steve Thompson (Beverly) of Silverthorne, CO; grandchildren, Wally Tiller, William "Casey" Tiller, Daniel Tiller, Joy Sabistini, Bobbi Leiner, James Thompson Jr., William Thompson, Carrie Williams, Joshua Thompson, Natalie Thompson, Zachary Thompson, Charles Thompson, Sandy Burandt and Ashley Keith; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Elvaretta (Dale) Duncan of Dade City, Fla. and Greta Alley of Cameron, W.Va.; and brother-in-law, Warren Stern of Bristol. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was conducted in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, Cuyahoga Falls. Memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 S.
