On May 23, the Cuyahoga Falls High School Class of 2017 will graduate. Following the graduation ceremony, the class will be celebrating with an All Night Party from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. that is hosted by the PTSA and junior/senior parents. But help is needed to make this event the wonderful success it has been in past years.
The main objective of the All Night Party is to provide a drug- and alcohol-free celebration for hundreds of new graduates. Throughout the evening, there will be drawings for door prizes. At the end of the evening, a raffle of prizes will be held for the graduates.
This year's theme is a Casino Night. In addition to the door prizes and raffles, there will be a mechanical bull, a photo booth, a variety of food, a candy bar, games, dodge ball, a reverse raffle and Casino Night games, and a big collection of raffle prizes to bid on.
Tickets are $10 and presale has begun. Students purchasing presale tickets will be entered into a drawing for $100. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
Waiver letters are being sent to parents and any student wanting to ride the mechanical bull must have a signed parental waiver; this includes students who are 18.
Help will be needed to decorate and set up on May 23 starting at 1 p.m. Volunteers are needed to work the event that night between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m.; you can stay for the whole time or any part of that time period.
The planning committee relies heavily on the support of the business and professional community of Cuyahoga Falls for donations of prizes to be used for the raffle. Any contributions you could make would be appreciated. Prize items, coupons, gift certificates or cash donations are all welcome, as well as food donations for the refreshment table. Any cash that is received will be used by the party committee to purchase items for the raffle.
Any gift certificates, coupons or checks (made payable to: Senior All Night Party) may be mailed to: Senior All Night Party, c/o Susan Keller, 507 Sill Ave., Cuyahoga Falls 44221.
