Three Scouts Earn Rank of Eagle

Michael Takacs, Jacob Spinner, and Daniel Garvin were recognized for achieving Boy Scouting’s highest rank in an Eagle Court of Honor ceremony at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on August 14.

They are members of Boy Scout Troop 179 in Cuyahoga Falls.

Michael is a 2016 graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and attends The Ohio State University.

He is the son of Larry and Danielle Takacs. Jacob is a 2016 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and attends The University of Akron.

He is the son of J.D. and Susan Spinner. Daniel is also a 2016 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and is attending The University of Akron.

He is the son of Pete and Mary Beth Garvin. Fr.

Jared Orndorff, Pastor of St. Joseph’s Church, Fr.

Ralph Thomas of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and Mayor Don Walters joined Scoutmaster Emeritus Paul LeMay in the celebration.
