Four vehicles reported stolen: Three vehicles were reported stolen from residents between 8 p.m. Dec. 4 and 9 a.m. Dec. 5: a 2016 Honda Civic in the 2200 block of Larchdale Drive; a 2003 Chevy Impala valued at $1,500 in the 2200 block of Winter Parkway; and a 2007 Chevy Impala valued at $1,500 in the 2200 block of Winter Parkway. The Civic was left unlocked with the keys inside along with a $2,400 set of golf clubs and a wallet valued at $40. 33903 In addition, the owner of an auto dealership reported a 2005 Ford F-250 pickup valued at $12,900 was stolen from his lot between 6 p.m. Dec. 2 and 10 a.m. Dec. 5. Police said in the four cases, two have leads, one does not and one was not a theft -- the car was found parked at the other end of the lot.
Akron man arrested: A 33-year-old Akron man was arrested and charged with assault after a Prange Drive resident reported he grabbed her during an argument over property at 4:35 p.m. Dec. 2. According to the report, the man punched her in the chest after pulling and ripping her shirt. After she called police, the man pulled her hand and arm into his car through an open window, bit her hand, rolled up the window and attempted to drive away with her arm still inside the vehicle. The woman reported having injuries to her arm and side of her face but declined medical attention offered by Falls Fire.
City man charged: A 43-year-old Falls man was arrested and charged with domestic violence after police said he used his head to strike a female family member in the face causing a swollen, bloody lip at 9:04 p.m. Dec. 4. Police signed a complaint against the man when the victim refused to sign it. She also declined medical treatment, the report said.
Akron man wanted: Charges of domestic violence, violating a protection order and criminal damaging were filed against a 27-year-old Akron man after the mother of his child reported he threw things at her striking her on the right side, pulled her hair wrenching her neck and damaged property at her home at 9:21 a.m. Nov. 29. Damage was estimated at $475. The man had a valid protection order against him at the time, the report said. The woman declined medical attention at the scene. Complaints were signed and warrants were issued.
Cleveland man accused: Police requested a warrant charging a 28-year-old Cleveland man with domestic violence after the mother of his two children reported he punched her in the face multiple times during a dispute at her home between 1:30 and 2:07 p.m. Nov. 19. The woman signed a complaint.
DRUG ABUSE POSSESSION, PARAPHERNALIA
Dog finds drugs: A 20-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman was arrested and charged with drug abuse possession and drug paraphernalia after an officer, with the aid of a police dog, found a bag of suspected marijuana and a glass pipe inside a makeup bag during an investigation at a traffic stop for speed at Graham Road and Prange Drive on Nov. 27 shortly after 1 a.m. The woman, a passenger in the car, admitted the property was hers, the report said.
Skin flicks filched: The manager of a video store in the 1200 block of Northmoreland Boulevard reported a white male stole an undetermined number of adult DVDs and fled the area on foot at 11:20 a.m. Nov. 26. The store's loss was estimated at $300. There are no definite suspects, the report said, but there is a possible lead.
Shoes stolen: A Toronto, Ohio, man reported his 17-year-old nephew's $200 tennis shoes were stolen from the ice rink at Riverfront Parkway and Broad Boulevard between 6 and 7:15 p.m. Nov. 26. There are no leads or suspects.
Boots stolen: An employee of a warehouse club in the 1100 block of Buchholzer Boulevard reported someone came into the store, took 20 pairs of Ugg boots valued at $2,600 and left the store without paying for them between 8:01 p.m. Nov. 18 and 3:37 p.m. Nov. 21. Police have a lead.
Computer, phone taken: A resident of the 4200 block of Americana Drive reported someone entered her apartment through an unlocked bedroom window and stole her laptop and cellphone totaling $160 between 3:45 p.m. Nov. 24 and 1 a.m. Nov. 25. There are no leads or suspects.
Ransom paid for Twitter account: The owner of a business on Portage Trail reported someone he does not know extorted $825 from him to release control of his business Twitter account on Nov. 24.
Two-car crash: A 16-year-old Stow boy had incapacitating injuries, according to the police report, after the car he was driving rear-ended another vehicle driven by a 64-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman at 4:50 p.m. Nov. 30. The report said both vehicles were traveling eastbound on Board Boulevard when the woman stopped to turn north on 7th Street and the boy struck her from behind. She was treated for possible injuries at the scene by Falls EMS. Her car minor damage. The boy's car had disabling damage. He was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. It was not made clear in the report if he was treated on-scene or transported to the hospital.
